Copa Tool has created a management role to oversee its newly instituted maintenance controls, software and procedures, naming Jake Damron to the new post of Maintenance Manager. The new quality software is currently in use or in the process of implementation for Copa’s critical machines and departments, with full implementation to be completed near the end of the first quarter.
Damron will oversee the use of database and scheduling software for maintenance and machine quality. This will lead to greater quality control and improved project management for the 40-year old machining company, now part of Ramco.
Matt Berger, Vice President of Operations for Copa, said “We congratulate Jake on his new role. With the tools under his management we expect to see significant achievements in quality control and machine uptime.”
