OUR HISTORY
1977
Ramco Specialties, Inc., is founded by Richard Malson, Sr., to source internally threaded fasteners and other industrial components.
1990
2004
Ramco builds its domestic manufacturing and distribution to become a Tier 1 supplier to the North American automotive market.
2006
Engineered solutions become a key capability, as Ramco prioritizes finding opportunities to increase reliability, improve function and reduce total in-place costs for customers.
2016
Ramco expands into a new, state-of-the art, 165,000 square feet facility in Hudson, Ohio, for domestic manufacturing at its North American headquarters.
2017
Ramco forms new FSP company, Ram-Bul LLC, an equally owned joint venture with Bulten, a leading externally threaded fastener manufacturer headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden.
2017
Automotive quality systems become a core part of Ramco’s domestic and global capabilities.
2018
Ramco Specialties acquires machining specialist Copa Tool.
2022
Ramco manufacturing floor expansion by 50,000 square feet for a total of 210,000 square feet at its North American headquarters in Ohio.
