Ramco Specialties, Inc. Acquires Machining Company in South Lyon, Michigan – Copa Tool, Inc.

April 3, 2018 — Hudson, Ohio.  Ramco Specialties, Inc., is excited to announce it has acquired Copa Tool, Inc., a precision machining company.  Copa manufactures high volume precision components supporting the automotive markets specializing in powertrain applications.

Ramco’s acquisition of Copa Tool, Inc. fits perfectly into the strategic vision of Ramco’s current and future business model as an engineered solutions service provider to North American Automotive markets. Copa’s expertise in precision manufactured assembled components will greatly expand Ramco’s domestic manufacturing capabilities.  Copa is located in the automotive hot-bed of Greater Detroit, making it a positive logistical addition to Ramco’s domestic supply chain network.
